Well, I think the title is misleading, but at least they do include "Explore your sexuality" on the list. So that sort of fits.
Also, I like that it says "Start thinking of Valentine’s Day as a day for YOU." I already do that ;)

Is it hilarious that I compared Dan and Nick to Dean and Jess in High School?

Also I loved Jess at first and then ended up hating him. But I think his storyline was just botched since he tried to go have that other WB show... heh.

I'm still ready to be in your wedding any time. Though, you really need to look for bridesmaids dresses somewhere other than David's Bridal if you wanna go lavender, b/c their lavender options are less than thrilling.

I'm not gonna lie, I started reading your blog in college because you would always post personal/guy drama and it was like reading a real-life soap opera. Dramatic! Addictive! Roped me in. Now I read it (and follow it) because I chat to you daily and sometimes it raises good topics of conversation. And it's one of the only blogs in my feed that's not all pictures and reblogs.

There's some sort of unwritten rule that you always wear a suit to an interview, even if the job won't ever require you to wear one again. But if you don't have one, a nice blouse and pants should do :) Good luck!!!!

You need to stop viewing your youth as a liability instead of an asset. Yes, there are people that have more experience than you but they're old and stuck in their ways. Companies like hiring young people for a number of reasons and you need to highlight those reasons in interviews/applications/resumes/etc.

1) You're more flexible about accomplishing things. Maybe this company likes things done a certain way, that's fine with you; you're open to completing tasks in a variety of ways because you're willing to experiment with methods. You've only been out of school for a few months, so you're likely more ready and able to learn on the job than the average old. Olds don't learn like college students.

2) Fact: Olds suck at technology. Fact: Even if you don't think you're good with computers or whatever, you're probably 100x better than the average old. Believe me. 80% of the people at my job can barely check their email. 60% of them still print out emails.

3) I guess as a fall-back you could tell them you'll work for less but, in my mind, you really shouldn't. You should convince them that you're worth whatever the job is paying and that the attributes you bring to the table are just as--if not more--important than the experience these people have. Let them make the offers. Don't sell yourself short like that.

Obvioulsy this all comes with a grain of salt, but I've interviewed a few people during my 15 months at my job and this stuff is what I've taken away from the experience. If you sell yourself well, people won't care as much about experience. First and foremost, they want to hire good, smart people. If you're smart enough, you can figure out the job as you go and you're not constrained by the limitations of your past experiences.

I think it's just a problem of overusing the word "equal" or "equality" out of context. So women want equal pay and equal opportunities in life, but some (not all) of them also want to be considered pretty? It's just as if you're saying that a group of people want to be offered equal educational opportunities but some of them are also trying to be funny, and some of them also want to paint pictures, and some like chocolate while others don't. What the hell does that other stuff have to do with equal education? Basically "equal" and "same" are two different things.
